For years, David had avoided confronting the pain of his past—growing up in a broken home, the loss of his father, and the weight of unmet expectations. He buried it all beneath work, keeping himself busy so he wouldn’t have to feel. But after an unexpected conversation with an old friend, David realized how much he had been running from himself. The friend, noticing his exhaustion and bitterness, simply said, “You can’t outrun your past. It’s part of you.” That night, David sat in his apartment, grappling with those words. Slowly, he began journaling about his childhood, each word unlocking a layer of grief he hadn’t known was still there. It was painful, but in facing the emotions he’d buried for so long, David began to heal. The journey wasn’t easy, but it was the first step toward finding peace within himself.

The country of Indonesia has so much abundant natural wealth. But not only abundant natural wealth, Indonesia as an archipelagic country has various crafts as a result of people’s creativity. Natural wealth and an abundance of various handicrafts are an integral part of the nation’s cultural heritage which is a distinct advantage for the Indonesian people. Maluku Province is one of 38 provinces in Indonesia which is rich in arts and culture including dance. one of the famous traditional arts from Maluku is the Crazy Bamboo. Crazy Bamboo or Bambu Gila has the original name Baramasewel is very thick with a mystical impression by using bamboo as its medium. The players hug and hold on to the the bamboo that moves, soaring according to the handler’s will. Before the game starts, the handler burns the incense he carries using a coconut shell container. The smoke from burning the scent is then ‘infused’ into the bamboo slats, making the bamboo move by itself. The they will say a mantra, which was saying "Ute Mamanu Imi Mamanu" three times out loud.

Based on the facts and history of Crazy Bamboo, there are two different sides of opinion which are people who believe that a spirit went in the bamboo to make the bamboo move by itself and people who doesn’t believe about a spirit possessed it. There are alot of theories such as how the bamboo can move by itself using mathematics, by Ismu Wahyudi who writes a journal and calculations about Crazy Bamboo.

Personally, i don’t believe it has a spirit than take over a bamboo to move by itself. In my opinion, there are other factors on how the bamboo can move on its own. But who knows that it was actually a spirit who moves it.

IKN in Kalimantan seek to reduce Jakarta’s Burden and Promote Growth

The establishment of Indonesia’s new capital, IKN, is a strategic move to alleviate Jakarta’s excessive burden while driving economic growth in less developed regions. Jakarta faces chronic issues such as overpopulation, traffic congestion, and environmental degradation, which threaten its long-term viability as the nation’s administrative center. By relocating the capital, the government aims to ease these pressures and create a more sustainable urban environment. For example, Jakarta is sinking at an alarming rate due to groundwater extraction, with some areas subsiding by up to 25 centimeters per year. Meanwhile, IKN is designed as a "smart and green city," integrating modern infrastructure with environmental sustainability. Additionally, the relocation is expected to stimulate investment and job creation in Kalimantan, reducing economic disparities between Java and other islands. Although concerns regarding costs and execution persist, the move signifies a crucial step toward a more balanced and resilient national development strategy.

Trieanny Elizabeth Indrayatno/34

Felicia Clarissa Tanurijanto/16

message: Summarizing the slogan of the Gojek app, which is #PastiAdaJalan (There’s Always a Way). It refers to people who constantly train their minds to solve problems and achieve something despite various limitations, which then turns into innovation. This aligns perfectly with the slogan. Which concludes every things we do there’s always another way to do it even better or fix any problems
