Summary of my Experience

My experience coming into the new High School wasn't easy. First I had to get up, which was hard enough. My mom was the one who told me to wake up. The gates that I had to cross were the gates at San Marcos High. Those gates where what was keeping me from the memories of eighth grade and the memories that were to come at the new school. There where lots of temptations first semester. Some temptations were, Procrastination on school work, and giving up on something that I thought was very challenging. Although the first semester was really hard and challenging, it was fun, and exciting to see how I became a smarter student and learned a lot from my teachers and peers.

Gates are just passage ways into a different area, but its a whole lot different when you are going to be going to the school for another 5 years, its a big deal.

My experience of entering the life of a Highschool student represents the "Crossing the threshold" step. The reason that I picked this was, it represents how i am growing up and am entering a new "life" to a new school and new peers. The threshold was the gates entering the new school.

Call to Adventure

My call to adventure was my mom. Whenever I don't wake up for something, she is the one to wake me up. The first day of school was a day where it was so hard to wake up.

My Transformation was being not as confident on my knowledge as i was in the beginning of the first semester. I gained knowledge and education throughout my hero's Journey.

In the "Second Round"of the games, the "Game Makers" mutated birds to sound like their loved ones. This lured her into believing that her family was in danger.

Katniss's Crossing the threshold

The threshold that Katniss had to cross was the train. She entered the whole new world of the capital on the train.
