I belive Mr. White was at fault.
Sargent Major Morris told Mr white ''let it burn'' after throwing it in the fire. Mr white also did not listen when told about the horrid consequences that could happen if he were to wish on the paw. Mr white then goes on to wish for two hundred pounds. The horrid consequence that was recived was the loss of mrs and mr whites son. It was not Sargent Major Morris's fault, he warned Mr white bad things could happen and he didnt listen. Mr white's wifr Mrs white was not at fault either, she even says she dosent want anything to do with the paw and in the beginning is discusted by it.
