Many times people go just to find diamonds, but I would go just for the fun of getting away and being abe to find different rocks for any reason. This does seem fun but on a vacation I would rather be site seeing and going on an adventure than looking for diamonds that I don't know are real, or hand placed. A place where you can go 'mine' is a little sketchy. Though I would go just to see what this is all about. I would not expect to find any diamonds, but hopefully a few minerals I could study. Maybe find what kind, with cleavage/fracture, streak, and hardness.
