Syntax is the way words are combined to form phrases that are acceptable.
Semantics are the meaning of words. If I make a statement, such as I am so hungry that I can eat a horse. This is an example of a syntax. The same sentence can be said and it will go against semantics, because in actuality as hungry as I may be I will not eat a horse

If I see a group of women and they all have a nice purse, I would say, The women have nice purses. The first sentence was singular one woman and one purse.

Pragmatics is the proper way of communicating. If you are having a conversation with someone, let them speak. When they are finished it is now your turn. While you are talking you want the other person to listen to what you are saying, so showing them respect while they are speaking is demonstrating pragmatics.
