Skinner had on Language Acquisition. What I found is that he believed babies were "empty vessels" and that language had to be "put into them". He believed this was done through operant conditioning. This is when the child speaks and there is a reinforcement that comes with it. Usually the reinforcement was an adult wither correcting their improper use of the language, or the adult nodding in approval of what the child was saying. I looked more into Universal Grammar and found that there are many components that make this. It is believed that all language is hard wired into our brain and we can learn language without being taught.
