During the day Ranofer keeps proving his worth and eventually Rekh decides to test Ranofer’s skill and has him making golden leaves for jewelry out of real gold. At the end of the day Ranofer comes home empty-handed which makes Gebu furious causing Gebu to beat Ranofer then tells him that he will no longer come home empty-handed or his punishment will be much worse.

Later that evening ranofer heres a squeak from the gate he wants to follow but he is to scared to because of his fear of lifts and this results in ranofer having a complete mental breakdown but he soon gains the courage to go after gebu and find him so he goes into the streets looking for gebu eventually he figures he has to say a spell or encation to help him see but it does not work and amdianly he gets knocked over and scratch and runs straight home only realizing that it was just a cat and a thorned bush.
