The Cathedral Church across the street is a sight to behold: a classical entryway, timeless red brick walls, and twin spires topped with gilded domes. On the opposite end of the square sits a... fountain? Splash Pad? Art installation? The world may never know. It's oddly quiet here, apart from the ubiquitous churning of the gulf. A few elderly folks chatting near the park entrance, and a man  stands hand-in-hand with a young child near the guardrail. As far as I could tell, I was the only living soul within its walls. I visited the graves of a few notable historical figures, and as I did, I noticed more and more deterioration and decay in the tombstones, mausoleums, and grave markers.
