The cross curricular has allowed us more time to spend on knowledge skills. Students are understanding the science concepts more than they did in the past. They now have additional information to support the lessons in science.

Most of my kids are able to read all 66 of the unit 7 words, however, many are decoding a lot of them (which I think is great)! In the past students would be required to read their sight words fluently to receive an "on level" grade.
