Museums, local compounds, libraries, national agencies - all have an important task to preserve cultural heritage, but it is also useful in school. To understand what you see requires teaching. My students are 13 - 16 of age and I meet them when they study geography, history, social studies and religious studies. I organise the teaching so that we study each subject for 8 weeks (our year at school is 36 weeks). Most classes have 25 - 30 students and all students have got an iPad each. The wifi is pretty reliable. Some 15 years ago my school participated in a exchange programme where we had contact with a school in Baltinava, Latvia. The swedish students didn't know their folk dances! I often use pictures of european cultural heritage when I teach about e.g. Ancient Greece or Ancient Rome, or Sami culture, or christianity...  Picture below shows one of the largest grave fields in the Nordic region, about 2000 years old, Jordbro gravfält. It is only 3 kilometers away from my home and an excellent place to teach about living conditions in ancient times.

Once you have found it, write a note on the Padlet and add the following information:
  • Title of object

  • Type of license (how you can use this object)
  • Link to the object
As a teacher, you will find many ideas in Europeana´s thematic collections that will inspire you to create your next lesson. You will save a lot of time, as the content has already been categorised and curated. Besides, the thematic collections also include important characteristics (such as copyrights), which is extremely helpful for teachers who are planning to reuse the content in their lessons.

Explanation: I think analysing and trying to sort different propaganda posters is a good idea, since it covers many aspects of our national curriculum - not only in history but also in swedish. I would follow the description in The war of words  quite closely.
