1. I wanted to start drinking more water everyday. So I set aside times where I made myself drink water, like after I eat breakfast I had to drink two glasses of water. Now water is my go to drink because it has become a habit.
2. I wanted to start stretching more so I made myself stretch every morning at 6am. This act is now a habit for me because as soon as I wake up my brain says, "Ok time to stretch."

1. Chemistry was a subject in high school that I did not like. It seemed like a second math class to me. All we did were worksheets with math problems and I feel that my experience could have been more meaningful if it were hands on and collaborative.
2. Geometry was a subject that was not my favorite but not my worst. The best part about geometry was how my teacher connected the problems to real world things like the motor on a car. By making this connection, the formulas and problems became authentic, real, and something that stuck with me even after high school.

1. In a class I had a couple of semesters ago we were given a case study on a student and needed to think on a deep level. We were able to talk with each other in groups about the case study and I gained so much from this experience because of the different points of view that everyone was able to express. Sometimes listening to different aspects that you might not see for yourself help to gain more knowledge.
2. I was previously in nursing school before I changed majors and was given the task of giving my instructor a shot. I was able to do this with the encouragement of my clinical group. If I would have had to do it alone I think I would have been more nervous without their support.

1. A few days ago a guest speaker came to speak with the students at the place where I work. The guest was an author of a children's book and did a book walk-through with the students. Afterwards, I was able to talk and ask questions about his inspirations and experiences which really opened my eyes to the world of being a child again. If I had not asked these questions or been more curious about him then I would not have been able to learn through him.
2. A petting zoo was set up at my work place and we were able to hold and pet lemurs, kangaroos, turtles, bunnies, and more. By seeing these animals and asking questions about them I was able to learn interesting facts that I did not know before.

!. I remember watching my grandmother crochet. I would sit beside her and watch her and talk with her. I learned how to crochet by just observing her.
2. I learned how to cook some recipes by observing my mother in the kitchen. I would sit in the kitchen and watch her make my favorite meals and would try them later on my own.
