         <description><![CDATA[<p>Vũ Nam Phong</p><p>The line chart indicates the percentage of the city dwellers of Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia from 1970 to 2020 and projections for 2030 and 2040. </p><p>Overall, it is evident that the proportions of total population in Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia had an upward trend from 1970 to 2020, and it is predicted to continue to rise from 2030 to 2040. Besides, Malaysia had highest proportion from 1990 onwards.</p><p>From 1970 to 1990, the percentage of total population in Malaysia rose gradually from 30% to 45%, before jumping to 75% between 1990 and 2020. It is predicted that this figure will climb minimally. Similarly, between 1970 and 2000, there was a slight increase from 13% to 27% in  the percentage of total population in Indonesia, which was followed by a steady growth to 50% between 2000 and 2020. This figure is projected to rise moderately to 60% in 2040.</p><p>From 1970 to 1990, the percentage of total population in ThaiLand grew gradually from 19% to 30%, before a marginal increase to 31% from 1990 to 2020. This figure is predicted to soar to 48% in 2040. From 1970 to 1980,  the percentage of total population in Philippines climbed slightly from 31% to 32%. Between 1980 and 1990, there was a rapid rise to 50% in this figure, which was folllowed by a progressive fall to 42% in 2010. This figure increased steadily to 45% between 2010 and 2020; and it is projected to continue rise gradually to 53% from 2020 to 2040.</p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

The rate of city dwellers is likely to increase after 2030. The percentage of  the city dwellers in philippines remained stable in 31 percentage between 1970 and 1980 before increasing rapidly to 48 percentage in 1990. There was slow fall from 48 to 40 in percentage The percentage of  the city dwellers in philippines  between 1990 and 2010 before rising gradually to 42 percentage in 2020.This figure will probably continue rise after 2030. There was slight rise from 19 to 29 percentage in the percentage of the population in Thailand between 1970 and 1990 before fluctuating during 29 and 30 percentage in 2020. The rate of city dwellers in thailand is expected to level up after 2030.  The percentage of the population in indonesia soar from 12 to a peak of 50 percentage between 1970 and 2020. Thailand is 20% and Indonesia is lowest, about 13%. After that, Malaysia go up fast, reach more than 80% in 2040, the highest.</p><p><br/></p><p>Philippines rise to almost 50% in 1990, then fall a little, then grow again slowly to about 55% in 2040. Indonesia grow very big. It start at 13% and then go up to more than 60% in 2040. Thailand rise very slow. In 2040, it is around 50%, still the lowest.</p><p><br/></p>]]></description>
