The picture makes it look like my artwork is all black and white, but there are yellow and red parts that show through in person. I think that my artwork changed from the digital sketches because there were a lot of new possibilities open when I started using the paint. I tried to add some texture like Gerhard richter, and I like the way B.A. Lampman used white to outline his work, so I tried that a little bit too. If I could change anything about it, I think I would have let more of the photo show through. I would like more subtle colors to show.
