I lived in Iran with my 6 year old brother and 17 year old brother. Our mother died when we were very young and our father was forced to join the war. My older brother decided that we needed to leave as it was not safe in Iran anymore. We chose to move to Greece we went by boat it was packed tight we looked around in shock at the sad and crying faces. On our way to Greece my younger brother fell ill and sadly didn't make it so it was just me and my older brother.

                     14th Of June 
My dearest Wife,
 I'm writing to you and Lily to tell you about my adventures so far. I hope your both okay? When I stepped on the train I could feel the tears running down my face. I wish we could all stay together but this is for the best we can all have a fresh start.

 I just got on the ship it's freezing here theirs so many sad faces. I feel so lonely and sad without you and Lily in my arms. I am over whelmed as there are so many people here just like us . I met a few people who told me about their journeys.

 I have finally arrived at our possible future home. I felt nervous and lonely when  I got of the boat I won't now where to go.

      I met a nice man he spoke a different language so i couldn't ask him where to go to find a place to sleep. So I drew a picture of a bed and he showed me where to go.

 I feel more settled in now I have found a job and I am begging to understand the language more. I cant't wait to see you both.

      I am looking forward to seeing you both very much, I believe that you both will be very happy here as am I. When you arrive we can sort out school and work in a safe country were we can be safe.
