Reading Corner C adopts the theme of Dr. Seuss, where a picture of Dr. Seuss is pasted on the wall, and red-and-blue decorations and furniture are used. The corner presents a cozy feel as it uses soft lighting from the ceiling and soft seats and cushions where children can read and discuss with each other without teachers’ interference. The books and game boxes are well-organized into wooden book shelves. Through the setting of such a reading room in a kindergarten, teachers can "create pleasant, unconstrained, and undirected literacy learning opportunities" (Lee, 2017, p. 526), which facilitates children’s development of reading and communication skills.
