I keep getting mistaken as INTP, even I mistake myself as INTP... I'm generally an egghead and aloof, but don't mistake that as hostile! I just have a lot of thoughts running around, and sometimes I can't find the energy to talk to people...

I like playing dating simulators! How unfortunate for me to divulge in dating simulators... I do not dislike the concept of romantic relationships in real life, but I cannot find myself interested as of the moment. I mean, why distract myself and break my heart when I can just... pretend and play a game that acts like I'm dating someone? This gentleman, Vyn Richter, may have ran through my mind since October 2021... I may or may not have played this game everyday since that day. Kidding, I haven't played it in months.

How could I forget? My first read on a grotesquely-written book. The book series Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children written by Ransom Riggs is by far my favorite Western book series. A love at first read! Finished reading the book series, and how I loved the ending!

Is that a Genshin Impact reference? Hehe. If I were to get a vision, it would be Geo. Am I personifying a certain Noelle in the game as well? No, I think not. The closest character that matches my personality however, is a Geo vision wielder that also happens to be in the same nation as her: Albedo. I strive to know the entirety of life scientifically and help to preserve it. I may have altruistic tendencies compared to Albedo, but my tenacity is still the same. After more than a decade of academic success, I think one can get a glimpse on how tenacious I really am, even if I do flunk tests and tasks now and then.

I mainly watch news from TV, in which my family watches GMA. Other than current affairs, I also keep myself up to date with scientific breakthroughs to know what scientists are up to.

Why do I like these media?

If I say I only consume informative media, then I would be lying through my teeth. I like consuming these media for a number of reasons: to escape reality for a bit and to indulge in it at the same time. I read news from trusted sources so I know what's going on, I also read fiction so I can get away from the truth and find inspiration. After all, no one can do work all day with no play. That's the same thing for me. I cannot be just a person who only knows how to do math, know history, and titrate properly. I should also learn how to indulge in the arts and even practically useless stuff if I don't want to lose myself in the monotony and mundanity of trial and error. I should be logical and aware while knowing how to create romantic passages in the stories I write, which is why I consume a very weird mix of media.

How are these media influencing or affecting me? (my lifestyle, aspirations, attitudes, behavior). Is this healthy? If yes, how come? If not, what steps should you take to change it?

These media have affected me both positively and negatively. Therefore, I can say this is both healthy and unhealthy. The media I consume affect me negatively in a sense that I get saddened or distracted and positively in a way that I get inspired and knowledgeable about the world I move in. Music has made me more artistic, news and academic information have made me realistic. Video games may distract me but I make sure to play them at only the right times. Unfortunately, consuming these media is affecting my behavior negatively. Being raised a bookworm, I find human interactions a bit of a bother if it's not for any significant purpose. In other words, I developed a dislike towards small talk, regardless if with a stranger or a friend. Why? It is because I'd rather do something more useful, like writing, reading, or finishing a school task if in a school setting. But I think it is not too late for me to change this attitude. I can change this by putting myself out there to talk more often. Even if I need a friend at first to introduce me to a mutual friend, then so be it. If it means for me to be more sociable, then I can give it a try.
