For the mystery genre, we usually use the TROPE of the "detective", for example. But there are other tropes we might write into our stories. 

Post examples of typical characters, plot events, themes, settings, or items often found in mysteries.

You can include text, videos, links, or pictures. Videos and photos are often very helpful.
