Fortunately with the pay I will be receiving I think I should be able to eventually pay for an apartment or house with a roommate. But until I save up that money I will most likely have to live with a parent or friend in order to save up.

What training will I do and what will it cost me

If I get chosen to become a police officer i will get put through police academy training. It is often free and I may even be paid a salary. During this training I will need to demonstrate safety for myself. Safety for citizens. Being taxed. Gun and weapon training. And driving. I can obtain all of this through a police academy and get prepared for it through the LHS criminal justice 1 and 2 courses.

Police officers don’t have to pay for a lot but they do have to pay for some things. Like police uniform, gear, badges, and gas. This rounds up to around 1,000 dollars.
