I made a realistic portrait of B&B's fursona, Hideaki, who is a cool and simpy handsome wolf. B&B also said that they would give extra points for an 80's retro theme, so I decided to go for it and add a funky background with neon colors and geometric shapes.

I used Krita, which is an awesome free and open source painting software, to create the portrait. I spent a lot of time on the details, like the fur texture, the eyes, and the shading. I also used the canvas-flipping trick, which is when you flip your image horizontally every once in a while to check for mistakes and improve the symmetry. It really helped me to make the portrait look perfect!

I'm really proud of how it turned out, and I hope B&B likes it too! I hope I can win the competition, or at least get some feedback from him. It would mean so much to me!

As you know, I love drawing comics and sharing them on my webcomic blog. But I also wanted to try something new and interact with you more. So I decided to create my own Vtuber fursona and stream myself drawing and chatting with you!

But how do you make a Vtuber model, especially a furry one? I looked online for 3d furry VR models and saw that most of them were very expensive or required a lot of skill and software. I almost gave up on my dream, until I stumbled upon a video by @lavendertowne where she made her own adorable ghost cow Vtuber model with Live2d. She made it look so easy and fun, but I was still intimidated by the process.

Then I found another video by Tahvo, who is a VR expert. He inspired me to give it a try and download Live2d for myself. He said that anyone can make a Vtuber model with some patience and creativity.

So I did it. I opened Live2d and started working on my own Vtuber model. I chose to make a capybara, because they give discord mod vibes, and they are so chill and friendly. They also don't need a lot of facial expressions or movements, which made it easier for me to rig them.

I used a simple .psd file that I drew in Krita and followed the tutorials and the manual to make it come to life. It took me some time, but it was worth it. I also made a cute stream background with canva to complete the look.

And here he is, my new oc, Corey Capybara! Isn't he adorable? I'm so proud of myself for making him, and I feel like I accomplished something amazing. I can relate to how pocari roo felt when she made her first fursuit, lumpy!

Hi everyone! I hope you're having a great October so far. I know some of you might be wondering why I don't post anything related to Halloween on my webcomic blog. Well, the truth is, I'm not a big fan of the spooky stuff. It's just not my cup of tea. But don't worry, I have something else for you to enjoy this month: National Void Cat Day!

What is National Void Cat Day, you ask? It's a day to celebrate and appreciate the black cats that are often ignored or discriminated against in shelters. They are beautiful, loving, and deserve a chance to find their forever homes. They are also super cute and funny, as you can see in the wallpaper I made for you!

The wallpaper features some void cats doing their best to blend in with the pumpkins, sticking out their tongues, and showing off their pink toe beans. To make them look like voids, I used pure black for their fur, and no outlines, shading, or highlights. The only thing that stands out are their round eyes, which are either yellow or green.

You can download the wallpaper for free right here, and use it as your desktop or phone background. I hope you like it and share it with your friends. And if you have a void cat of your own, or know someone who does, please give them some extra love and treats today. They deserve it!

You may not know this, but I've been secretly working on this project for the past week. It was a lot of fun, but also a lot of work.

Unfortunately, I ran into some technical difficulties with OneDrive over the weekend, which caused me to lose some of my progress... I'll tell you more about that in another post.

But I didn't give up, and I managed to finish the animation in time. As Mike Nawrocki said, "We did it. We nearly killed ourselves, but we actually got it done."

So now I'm feeling tired, stressed, but also proud of myself. I hope you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed making it.

For example, have you seen the frog urinal that is supposed to help little boys learn how to pee? It's basically a plastic frog with a gaping mouth that you stick on the wall. How is that not disturbing? And the worst part is that some parents actually think it's cute and leave positive reviews for it. No thank you, I'll pass. 🤮

On the other hand, there are some potty training toys that I actually like, but they get a lot of hate for being "inappropriate" or "disgusting". Like the Gotta Go Flamingo, a pink plush flamingo that eats, poops, and sings. It's adorable and hilarious, and it teaches kids about digestion and hygiene. I would totally buy one for myself if I could. 🥰

And don't get me started on Boppi the Booty Shakin' Llama, a toy that I love. She's a fluffy llama that dances and shakes to music. She's so cute and fun, but some parents think she's too "sexualized" or "vulgar". Come on, it's just a llama having a good time, lighten up!

I don't get why parents are so inconsistent and hypocritical when it comes to potty training toys. They praise a toy for being educational and then bash another toy for being entertaining. Let kids be kids. That's what I tried to show in my comic, hope you enjoy it!

Olivia has been in my Character Archive for a long time, but I never got around to drawing her in a comic until now. She's a friendly and patriotic possum who loves to brag about how great Canada is. She's always drinking beer, and she has a cute accent that makes her say "aboot" instead of "about".

I first saw Giggles on a video by Rocky Kanaka, who rescues and fosters dogs. He showed how Giggles was misunderstood and needed a loving home. I fell in love with her instantly and decided to make her a part of my webcomic. I wanted to have some fun with her 'evil' reputation and make her look like a creepy horror character. I got some inspiration from Iscream the un-bunny from Chikin Nuggit, who has red eyes and a scary smile. I also gave Giggles a long fang that sticks out of her mouth. And of course, her name is perfect for a horror-themed character. Giggles sounds like something you'd hear in a haunted house.

But don't worry, Giggles is not really evil. She's just a playful pup who likes to scare people for fun. She's also very sweet and loyal to her friends. And the best part is, she found her forever home with a family who loves her for who she is. She's living the good life now and having lots of adventures. I hope you enjoy reading about her in my webcomic!

This wallpaper is one of my proudest works so far. I experimented with some warm shading techniques, and I used a round brush with low opacity to give the food some texture and depth.

I also made sure to include all of the characters in the scene, even Petunia's little ✨bundle of joy✨, and George, who is known for being absent in every comic.

And don't forget, November second is the big day when B&B productions will announce the winner of the 2023 Fanart Contest! (I made a mistake yall its the 20th) I submitted my entry a few days ago, and I'm crossing my fingers for the 1k prize!

Corey is a cute and friendly capybara who loves comics and art. He's always curious and eager to learn new things. He's also a bit clumsy and chaotic, but that's part of his charm!

Giggles is a cute and playful pup who loves to make people laugh. I wanted to see how she would look in motion, so I decided to animate her in a funny scene. I chose the viral meme of the kitty wrapped in a green towel and screaming like a banshee. 😂

But let me tell you, it was not easy to make this animation. First of all, I had a hard time finding the original audio of the kitty scream. I searched everywhere online, but no luck. I ended up having to record and edit my own version of the scream, which took forever. 😩

Then, I made the foolish decision to do a hand-drawn animation, instead of using a software or a template. I don't know why I do this to myself, but I always think that hand-drawn animation will look better and more authentic. But it also takes so much more time and effort. I spent a whole week working on this animation, staying up late and working on weekends. It was exhausting. 😪

But finally, after all the blood, sweat and tears, I finished the animation. And I have to say, I'm pretty proud of how it turned out. Giggles looks adorable and hilarious in the scene, and I think she really captures the spirit of the meme. 😍

So here it is, my test animation of Giggles the puppy. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it. And I can guarantee, this is the last time I'll ever do hand-drawn animation again. 😮‍💨

If you don't know what this song is about, it's a goofy and adorable story of Tydus, a tiny puppy who was adopted by a loving family and grew up to be a huge malamute. But he still acts like he's a tiny pup and causes all kinds of trouble! The original music video is so cute and wholesome, I used to watch it over and over when I was 10.

I've always wanted to reanimate this song in my own style, but I never had the time or the courage to do it. Until now! I decided to take a break from my webcomic and focus on this project for a while. I know some of you might be disappointed, but I hope you understand that this is something I really wanted to do for myself. And don't worry, I'll be back to my comic soon enough!

So I decided to make a comic about it, featuring the time Elroy, who just turned 6 months old, graduated to the doghouse. 🐶

Now, you may be wondering why I chose to dress her up like that, since Giggles is not a fan of Christmas. In fact, she really prefers Halloween to Christmas, and hates wearing anything that restricts her reality-bending powers. But I thought it would be fun to see how she reacts to something so festive and cozy. And as you can see, she's not very happy about it.

But don't worry, she'll get over it soon enough. She's still the same lovable and mischievous pup we all know and love. And maybe she'll even learn to appreciate the spirit of Christmas a little bit more. Or maybe not. Who knows what she'll do next?

I used krita to create this animation, and I had a lot of fun with it. I started with a rough sketch of the movement and then added the details and colors. I used some principles of animation like easing and momentum to make the possum look more lively and natural. I'm really happy with how it turned out!

Hall Monitors is all about Parker, the hall monitor who made his debut in book 4 of Kid Youtuber. I was expecting this to be a prequel, because Parker seemed so different from how he was in Kid Youtuber. He was more upbeat, optimistic, and naive in this book, while in Kid Youtuber he was more cynical, sarcastic, and jaded. But it turns out this book takes place after the events of Kid Youtuber, which made me wonder what happened to Parker's personality.

The plot of the book is that the school principal decides to shut down the hall monitor program after Parker accidentally destroys the trophy case in the cafeteria. But then someone steals the school's golden egg, which is a priceless artifact that the school is very proud of. Parker decides to team up with his friends and use his hall monitor skills to find the thief and maybe save the program.

I have to be honest, I was a bit disappointed by this book. It didn't have the same level of humor and creativity that Kid Youtuber had. The jokes were kind of lame, the characters were not very memorable, and the mystery was not very exciting. It felt like a generic kids' book that didn't live up to Marcus Emerson's standards. I hope he can do better with his next books, because I'm still a fan of his work.

We woke up super early, like 7am, and took a boat to St Thomas. That was just a pit stop before our flight to our final destination, but we had to wait for a few hours at the airport.

It was amazing to be in American territory again after so long. I felt so patriotic when I saw the flag waving at the post office. It was a beautiful sight.

Sadly, our flight got cancelled after all that waiting. So we had to improvise. We grabbed some food from a gas station nearby, and I had the most delicious salad ever, even though it was super oily. Now we're heading to another airport to catch a different flight. It's going to cost more, but dad's work will cover it. See you up north! ✈️🕒

Long story short, our flight got cancelled, but luckily dad's company was able to book us a hotel room for the night. And not just any hotel room, but a love suite!

The room was amazing. It had everything we could ask for: air conditioning, soft sheets, a coffee maker (too bad we didn't have any decaf), and cable TV. I was so excited to watch some American channels, since I haven't seen them in ages. I binge-watched PBS kids until a Christmas special came on AMC. We cuddled up and watched it together, and then we went to sleep.

We're hoping to catch our flight tomorrow and get to our destination soon. I can't wait to show you all the sketches I made during this trip. Thanks for your patience and support. Love you all! 😜🍷

My dad's company organized this trip for him and his coworkers, and they invited us to join them. We flew out early yesterday morning from our hotel, and it was so exciting to see the island from the air. It looked like a paradise, with blue water and green hills.

We checked into our new hotel, which was actually the same place where my mom and dad had their honeymoon. How romantic, right? We got a cozy apartment with a Google TV, which was awesome. They even had decaf coffee for me, which is hard to find sometimes. The TV had a lot of movies that I can't watch in my country, so I binge-watched a few of them. We then went to visit some of Mom's old friends from her teaching days.

Everyone was so excited to see us, and then we all went for a drive around the island. We stopped at the plaza, where we did some shopping and bought more decaf coffee and marshmallows. Yum! We also saw some of the places where I used to hang out when I lived there, like the beach and the park. It was so nostalgic and fun.

I'm so grateful that my dad's job paid for this trip, and that we got to spend some quality time together as a family. St. Croix is such a beautiful place, and I'm glad I got to share it with you through this blog post. Stay tuned for more updates on my webcomic, and happy holidays!

We checked out of our hotel this morning and got a ride to the airport from one of my dad's former students. The airport was pretty busy, but I managed to spot some cute service dogs that made me smile. 🐶

Our flight is scheduled to leave at 5:30, so we have some time to kill. Maybe I'll do some sketching or read a book. Or maybe I'll just nap. 😴

We just left St. Croix and flew to a mystery destination, and guess what? It's...

... Florida! The flight was awesome. I got to sit by the window and watch the sun go down over the clouds. It was so peaceful and relaxing. I barely saw any land until we were almost there. Then I spotted the cool guitar hotel and the baseball stadium. I haven't been to the US since I was a baby. We met my aunt at the airport and she drove us to her place. We're going to stay with her for the holidays, which is a surprise. My parents want to catch up with their relatives and have some fun. I might not update as often for the next few weeks, but I'll be back in full swing in January. Bye for now!

Elroy was with me for five months before he went back to the shelter, and he was a handful! He chewed on everything, barked at strangers, and made a mess of my house. But he was also very sweet and cuddly, and I loved him a lot.

One of the most special additions to the character page is the inclusion of Astro and Jet, Lola's stillborn puppies. They never got to see the world, but they are always in my heart and in my comic. I decided to draw them for the first time ever, and it was a very emotional experience. I don't know if I will ever draw them again, but I wanted to honor their memory and share it with you.

They are part of my story, and part of my life. I miss them every day, but I also feel grateful for the time I had with them, even if it was brief. They taught me a lot about love, loss, and resilience. They are my angels, and I hope they can touch your hearts too.

I'm going to use Canva Embeds to make the possum syndrome website more fun and engaging. You'll be able to see some cool features like polls, quizzes, slideshows, and more. And of course, some of them will be featuring Damedeeso, the adorable doggo that practically rules iStock. He's so cute and expressive, I can't resist using his photos in my webcomic.

With Canva Embeds, I can also create whole pages using the website feature. This means I can design my own layouts, backgrounds, fonts, and colors without having to code anything. It's super easy and convenient.

During the past week, my Vtuber avatar, Corey, decided to take an unexpected break and stopped working. However, just in time for the stream, Corey started registering again, and I seized the opportunity to resume streaming! It was a fantastic comeback.

I've reimagined Frank and Margaret as bat-eared foxes, a nod to their microphone 'ears' that pick up every subtle sound. The artwork was crafted using Krita's pencil brushes, which added a perfect scratchy texture that looks amazing in the texture of the shadows.

Pinterest ship art a great inspiration for this piece, guiding the aesthetic and feel of the fanart. It's an adorable furry ship that gives good vibes and feels beautiful.

The suspense was unbearable as dad prodded the cable compartment of the bedframe, the rat's suspected hideout. In a flash, the rat burst out. Lola spared no time trying to snatch the little rodent, but it narrowly escaped her jaws.

The chase was on. After several fruitless attempts, we resorted to peppermint oil, hoping its searing scent would flush out the smell-based mammal. Sure enough, the rat emerged, and Lola was quick to act. The rat slipped through her grasp once more, but Lola was relentless. With a final strategic nudge from dad, Lola cornered the rat, and victory was hers. With a few quick clenches, the rat was finished.

We decided to toss its half-eaten corpse into the forest, bidding it farewell and good riddance. Lola, our furry heroine, had saved the day. Her reward? A doggo fruitcake and the title of the bravest dog in our household.

This story of bravery and instinct is an example of the true power of dogs. Lola didn't just catch a rat; she brought a family together for a moment of excitement and teamwork. In this book, Davy finds himself at Mega Viddy Con, a convention for YouTubers and digital creators. this is probably the third book in which Davy finds himself at a convention of sorts, maybe fourth, if you count the gaming tournament. The stakes are high as he tries to collaborate with Nathan Rodgers, a cartoon spin on MrBeast, to win the convention's video competition. However, the plot thickens when Davy meets Grant Keller, a fan who quickly becomes a pivotal character in this adventure.

Emerson's humor, which has been a hallmark of his writing, shines brighter than ever in this book. It's a significant upgrade from the "Hall Monitors" series. I remember seeing a plot suggestion on one of the reviews for the last book, suggesting that one of the characters should be killed off in the next book, which I found ridiculous, but Marcus actually took the suggestion! I'll try not to spoil, but It's TOTALLY not Abraham Lincoln. The narrative includes a Pokémon reference, and also a niche anime reference, including someone saying 'iykyk,' so... do with that what you will.

"Tell Your Friends" is an example of Emerson's ability to bounce back and continue to captivate his audience. It's a hilarious addition to the "Kid Youtuber" series that will leave readers eagerly awaiting the next chapter in Davy's journey.

Above ground, the Herd discovers the possums' misadventure and sets off on a rescue mission. But instead of dealing with a PinkFong-Style Evil protoceratops, the conflict of the story comes from the raw force of colliding tectonic plates.

As for me, I embarked on a creative journey making my own Ice Age fanfiction series. It's been a blast teaming up with my community to design, storyboard, and rewrite the disastrous Ice Age 6. In more recent events, I became a hardcore Digital Circus fan. This show had a chokehold on me ever since I first watched it, also Jax is super hot and stuff ;)

This year was nothing short of amazing, and I hope you enjoy my comic as much as I enjoyed creating it. Stay tuned for more updates and adventures!

Now, I actually just recently upgraded my art setup, and that came with upgrading GIMP from 2.10 to 3.0! This came with a lot of changes, along with pen pressure and effect layering. I wanted to take some time to let loose and make something that brought me joy, so I overlayed a texture multiply layer on a white backgorund, and tried to make something expressive and energetic, perfectly matching Elroy's 🤬. The result definetly acheves that, and boy, do the updated brush dynamics help with that! Anyway, I'll still be using the round brush for my art, with the classic painted backgrounds. You'll probably notice a slight alteration in the way the GEGL operations are done, though. That's about all, thnks for reading!

Over the coming weeks, club members will get to see a couple tiny puppy teasers along with sneak peeks at my animation process. You might get less content from my channel and my comic, but the end will be totally worth it. Now that production is underway, I can’t wait to show you what’s coming.
