Some of the causes of the American Revolution were that the Americans had no word and no representative to stop them from getting taxed. This is in one of the lines no taxation without representation. And another example was with taxation, the patriots had enough so they decided to start the American Revolution.

Battle at Lexington and Concord

On April 19, 1775, the first shots were fired and war was started with 8 American deaths. And at Lexington 700 British men faced 77 minute-men and others. In the end British faced 273 deaths and Americans only 90 deaths.

Battle at Saratoga

In 1777 the British under Gen. John Burgoyne captured Fort Ticonderoga and losing in Vermont and New York. Him and his army surrendered at Saratoga to the Americans.

Battle at Yorktown

On September 28- October 19, 1781 in Yorktown Virginia there was a siege with joint Franco-American army against a major British army. In the end the British army ended up surrendering.
