Jeff Bezos as we all know is the founder of Amazon and he is one of the richest people in the world today. "A capitalist culture seeks to improve health through advances in scientific medicine rather than by eliminating poverty, despite the fact that poverty is a core cause of poor health" (Macionis p.504). Bezos would have a huge impact if he would use some of his money to help fight homelessness or poverty but he choses not too. These technological advancements are things that those in poor countries do not have access to. The U.S can help poor countries develop their economies.
