While it is true that societal pressure, discrimination, and inequality exist and can be cruel, it is a stretch to say that society is conspiring against the "manhood" of all its members. Society, in many ways, also provides support systems, opportunities for growth, and a sense of community. It can offer education, healthcare, and many more.
