Because today is first day for me, I learnt working schedule time because my working time is around 10am until 5pm only which means just for part time. This is more to learnt restaurant management skill, which is more acceptable for food and beverage industry. There are five staff works in this restaurant and two person are manage this restaurant. In first day, I given training about working in front restaurant that is take order from customer and serving food to customer. The more important at here is be polite with customer during take order from customer and be punctual to serve food so that can get positive opinion towards this restaurant. Today is learning process of restaurant management and I feel satisfied for the first day working and training day.

Because this restaurant near to my house, I can go to work with punctual. Yesterday I already learnt some work and give me training about serving food to customer. Because this month is very special to Indians there are a lot of customer are take breakfast and lunch at here. Around 8am until 11am, time is for breakfast and 12pm until 3pm is lunchtime. I help the restaurant staff serve food to customer and take order from customer. For breakfast, there are variety of food are become customer favorites such as idli, thosai, vadai and etc. Besides that, for lunch banana leaf food are very special among the customer because it is Indian traditional food. Not only Indian customer are coming to this restaurant moreover there are Chinese customer are make it this restaurant as a first choice. So today, I learnt the way of serve food to customer.

Today is day three for work in Restaurant Lavania. Manager give me training on how to handle in kitchen area. Kitchen should be located between storage areas and dining room. Specific work areas in the kitchen will differ based on the menu. Even I just given training but I still can study some work, which similar to housework such cleaning table, wash plates, etc. The most important things is must be patience during work because some customer will show off or show their bad expression to us but we as a staff must be patience serve food to customer. Today l learnt some useful lesson and experience.

At this restaurant, there are almost 5-6 staff working and three of them is from India employee. About the paycheck, for the employee at restaurant around RM1000 above are given by manager. Even I just work for 10 days, but because me as entrepreneur student the manager guide me how to prepare the report for the food and beverage department.

The record exactly like what I learnt in University that is about finance system. I was record the income of this restaurant for every day. Even the work is simple work but me being very difficult study this work.

All staff and manager are gathering at kitchen when I reach there. Like what the manager informing to us, today is very important day because today we going to prepared food for school function. The school principle being ordered around 500 non-Vega and Vega food for student. The manager give me a simple task, which is to help the staff to cook food. Since there are six staff are working at these restaurants, two staff are handling breakfast and lunch food since four employee are getting prepare food for school order. I help the employee to cut all the vegetables while the cooking food are deal by the four employee. During they cook the food; I am help to clean the plates and glasses. Today become a very grateful day for me to learn the process of cooking food for big deals. This give me an understanding about the management of food system.

The temple is near to this restaurant and every Monday that restaurant usually give the order for this restaurant. I help the employee cooking food and clean the restaurant once the cooking finish.
