I liked that it said that some white cells are in the scab trying to fight any infections that might have gotten in the wound.

Under the scab, skin cells multiply to fix the cut.

Certain cuts or bites could develop into tetanus, and if you get a cut or scratch you can get infected a develop a fever. if you get bitten by an animal, you need to go to the doctors office immediately because that animal might have rabies.

Elephants and whales are alike and different in many ways.

For example, as mammals, both have live young and feed them milk, and they are both warm blooded. Also, elephants and whales are both massive in size. Both mammals have a special way of communicating. For example, whales use their body language to communicate their wants, needs and intentions. Also, elephants use a system of communication that involves their senses which are, hearing, smell, vision and touch.

Elephants and whales are also different in many ways.

Whale calves weigh almost a ton at birth while elephants weigh about 150 pounds at birth. Also, whales live in the ocean, while elephants live on land.

These amazing creatures live in the sea. They are cold-blooded I believe, and their most common form are medusa and polyps. Jellyfish and corals are also cnidarians. The Greek word for cnidarians are "cndois". Since cnidarians are also corals they make up corals reefs! I think cnidarians are very cool!

The pin with the zinc has positive charge, and the pennies have negative charge. The negatively charged pennies have their energy flow from them to the positively charged pins, then through the wire, and the energy gets to the light bulb and turns it on.

I did discover a new science tool. I discovered a photometer. It measures light intensity. Photometers measure: Illuminance. Irradiance. There is also another tool I discovered. It is the lactometer. A lactometer is an instrument that is used to check for the purity of of milk by measuring its density

The cube on the left is the result of five minutes of erosion. Both cubes looked like the cube on the right before I did the experiment. The result is that while eroding, the left cube has gotten smaller.

We did the erosion experiment with smarties and pebbles instead of sugar cubes and pebbles. The result was that harder rock breaks down weaker rock. There was visible wearing down and powder from the smarties.
