1. TRADITION:
    Every year during Kaamatan Festival, Toti and his family would gather at their house to celebrate Kaamatan as it's an obligation festival for them. According to their ancestors, Kaamatan Festival is about giving thanks to Huminodun for sacrificing herself so that the villagers can have rice to eat.


2. LOVE:
   The love theme can be seen in Toti Tovud, Botiza and Lynundus. There are two types of love in this drama which are True Love and Fake Love.

TRUE LOVE
- Botiza never told Toti that she liked him ever since they were little. However, Toti fell in love with Botiza a year after he broke up with Lynnundus.

FAKE LOVE
- Toti Tovud was blinded by Lynundus' beauty and was the only one who tries hard to get her love. Meanwhile, Lynundus' love for Toti was not even genuine and only focusing on his wealth.

3. FRIENDSHIP:
   Botiza and Toti Tovud were friends since they were little. They spent a lot of time together until Toti went to Kuala Lumpur to further his studies and works there. Botiza really appreciate their friendship. Plus, Botiza is willing to do everything for Toti's happiness.

4. FAMILY:
   This theme is about a mother's sacrifice. For instance, Rosalind pretended that she liked Lynundus as her son's wife-to-be even though her guts told her that Lynundus has this negative vibe/ bad intentions on Toti.

INTRODUCTION:

The story begins with a scene when there is a Malaysia's cultural festival held in KL which Toti is one of the committee members who represents Sabah to attend the event. Coincidently, Lynnundus was also one of the visitors who participated in the event. She's captivated with the Sabah's booth and went there to learn more about Sabahan's culture.

RISING ACTION:
On the day they met, they started to know each other more until they had a deep relationship. After few years of being together, Toti decided to bring Lynnundus to visit Sabah, his hometown especially, during the Kaamatan festival to meet his family and to expose Lynnundus how is Sabah's culture. That is because Lynnundus have not been exposed much to Sabahan's culture. But there are other main things that Toti had planned, which is to propose Lynnundus when they were in Sabah
  

CLIMAX:

The mood of the story changing when Toti brings Lynnundus to meet his mother named Rosalind. Rosalind seems not that interested in Lynnundus as she has the mother's instinct where the girl will ruin her child future, but she keeps it cool for the sake of her son, who has just come back after a few months overseas. Then, Toti brings Lynnundus to her grandmother, which they called her Odu. Fortunately, Odu loves Lynnundus, making Toti and Lynnundus happy as if the grandmother is approving them. Suddenly, Botiza came by after she hears that Toti has come back; Botiza's heart broke when she met Lynnundus which she did not expect that Toti will bring a girl home.

Nevertheless, Botiza keeps her smile face on as if everything's okay. So, Botiza decided to greet Lynnundus for the sake of being friendly and respect Toti's choice. However, Botiza also feels the same way as Rosalind feels just now, in which they have the same view where Lynnundus is not a good girl for Toti Tovud. Botiza let it pass because she didn't have any proof, and she has just known Lynnundus. So, it takes more time for them to know each other. 

The next day, The next day, Lynnundus was having an activity with Toti's family where Odu teaches her how to make tapai as it is a traditional routine for Kaaamtan Festival. Suddenly, Lynnundus gets a call from her friend, so she decided to pick it up and talk to her friend in the backyard of Toti's house. 

Unfortunately, Botiza unintentionally heard Lynnundus's conversation with her friend when she's going to the bathroom. Their conversation shocked Botiza, where Lynnundus tells her friend about how lucky she was to meet Toti because of his richness. That is why she decided to be with Toti to enjoy Toti's money as much as possible. That shocked Botiza, and she rushed to Rosalind to tell her about it. When Rosalind heard about it, it makes her angry, and she decided not to approved Lynnundus as Toti's partner. Rosalind decided to confront Lynundus after dinner to talk about her actual intention towards his son. 

FALLING ACTION:

Unfortunately, Toti has planned to proposed Lynundus during their dinner time. The whole situation has made Rosalind and Botiza shocked, but that doesn't change Rosalind's mind at all as she has directly argued on Toti's proposal. However, odu questioned Rosalind's act about Toti's proposal because odu has approved both of them since the day she met Lynundus. Hence, Odu's act made Rosalind and Botiza couldn't say any more and have to accept their decision. When Toti proposed to her, of course, she said yes, and they directly set their engagement date on that particular night. Lynnundus get so excited and informed her family to come to Sabah for their engagement preparation.

On the engagement day, everyone was so busy preparing everything before the event begins. While Lynundus are busy preparing herself in her room, Botiza decided to confront her to dig more into her actual intention. At that moment, Lynnundus accidentally shows her true intention of marrying Toti, and that doesn't shock Botiza at all.

Suddenly, Odu confronted Toti and Lynnundus before the event began. She directly told them that she doesn't agree with the "engagement" thing as she overheard Botiza and Lynundus conversation. Lynundus and Toti are shocked with Odu's decision and made Lynundus accuse Botiza that she has made fake rumours about her to Odu because Botiza is jealous of her marrying Toti. However, Odu made it clear that she has overheard their conversation by herself while she was passing through Lynundus's room. Then, Lynundus was very ashamed of her doings and decided to leave Toti behind and go back home with her parents to KL.


FINALE:
After the shocking incidents, Toti questioned Botiza why she didn't tell him about Lynundus intentions earlier. However, Botiza explained that she cares about his family too, other than she cares about Toti so much. Therefore, she decided to stay low as possible as not to hurt Toti's feeling because she made herself clear that even if Toti leaves his family behind, they still have Botiza to depends on. Hence, Toti realizes that Botiza cares about him so much as well as his family too. From that moment, he decided to remain in Sabah to runs his family businesses and be with Botiza forever.

1. LYNUNDUS (Rachel Chu)
- An only child to an average income family.
- she is from a Kadazan family but was born and raised in peninsular Malaysia and is very curious about her traditional roots and their culture.
- She is very beautiful and elegant.
- She become close with Toti after they met at the cultural festival in KL.
- She is Toti Girlfriend.
- Despite her angelic smile and gentle attitude, she is in fact very interested with Toti's wealth.

2. Toti Tovud (Nick Young)
- Come from a very wealthy Kadazan Family.
- Was an only child and also the heir to his family wealth.
- Also the most eligible and wealthy bachelor in Sabah.
- Had a down to earth kind of attitude and very humble despite his family wealthy background.
- Toti is very handsome and charming
- He is in a very serious relationship with Lynnundus and he plan to propose to her.
- He is also a very good friend of Botiza.

3. Botiza  (Peik Lin)
- A daughter of a wellknown businessman in Malaysia.
- Comes from a very wealthy family
- She is very friendly and humble.
- But also very classy and elegant since she come from a wealthy family.
- A very good friend of Toti 
- Is very close with Toti's Family too because they're a close family friends.
- She really cares for Toti and his family because they've always been close but she is also secretly in-love with Toti. 
- Botiza is very loyal to her love for Toti, despite knowing that Toti  is going to marry someone else.. She always look out for him and always try to help him.
- Had a bad impressions on Lynnundus on their first meeting and also very jealous of her since she is Toti's girlfriend.

4. Rosaline (Eleanor Young)
- Mother of Toti
- She is a polite, classy and elegant woman.
- She is also very stern when it comes to family and tradition issues.
- Loves her son very much and always want the best for him.
- She had a bad impressions on Lynnundus the moment Toti introduced her and she show her distaste feeling towards Lynnundus openly.
- Despite not really fond of Lynnundus she try to accept her with an open heart due to her son request. 

5. Odu (Grandma Young)
- She is the grandmother of Toti
- Her favorite grandchildren is Toti and she really favors him.
- She tend to look very quiet all the time and only speak when necessary.
- She is very wise and didn't like to show her emotion very much.
- She is also a very powerful figure in the family. 
- she really likes Lynnundus at first but was shocked to know that she was only interested with their wealth and assets.

Lynnundus is a Sabahan but born and raised in KL, while Toti Tovud is also a Sabahan but born and raised in Sabah. Lynnundus has zero knowledge about Sabahan's culture, while Toti Tovud knows all about Sabah's culture.

On the day they met, they started to know each other more until they had a deep relationship. 1. Kuala Lumpur
- Lynundus met Toti in KL during the Malaysia's cultural festival that held in KL. They get to know each other and exchange their phone number. Lynundus left a good impression on Toti that made him more interested to know her better. Lynundus didnt waste the chance. They would meet up for dinner or even breakfast.

2. Penampang, Sabah.
-Lynundus followed Toti to celebrate Kaamatan in Sabah since Toti is Kadazan. Toti introduced Lynundus to his family. His mother is not quite fond of Lynundus and feel like Lynundus is not genuine and got something up her sleeve. His mother have a bad feeling of Lynundus. Lynundus doesnt leave a good first impression that made Toti's mother a bit suspicious. 
-Toti's grandmother which is Odu has a very opposite view of Lynundus. Odu is very fond of Lynundus. 
-Botiza, Toti's bestfriend, was shocked that Toti brought his girlfriend back home. Botiza also feel a bit suspicious towards Lynundus, same like Toti's mother.
- Botiza heard Lynundus conversation at the bathroom which is very shocking and decides to tell everything to Rosalind
- During their family dinner, Toti plan to proposed Lynundus.
- Rosalind questioned Lynundus as what made her want to marry Toti
- Toti was so confused but refused to believe what her mother just told him. Toti was so disappointed with his mother and feels like her mother doesnt want to see him being happy with his current relationship. They got their blessing from Odu

3. Sutera Harbour, Kota Kinabalu.
- The day of their engagement, Botiza confront Lynundus. 
- Odu confront Toti and Lynundus before the engagement begin. Odu do not allow the engagement. 
- it made Lynundus to accuse that Botiza is the one behind all of it because she have feelings for Toti. But Odu tell them that she heard it herself
- Toti and Botiza have a heart to heart conversation. Toti ask Botiza why she did not tell him from the first place. Botiza says she cares for him and his family so much that she does not dare to hurt his feelings.

- Toti decides to stay in Sabah to runs his family businesses
