We chose this title because the whole chapter is about every one reacting to the death of Jay Gatsby and nick is calling people to see if they are going to attend the funeral for Gatsby but no one answers and the only people that show up are Nick, Gatsby's father, servants and the owl eyed man

We chose the aftermath because it was when Gatsby and Tom had a huge argument about their love towards Daisy. It is the Aftermath because it was the negative events that happened earlier like their fight and Myrtle's death.

Chapter 7 is corrupt and unreachable because Tom cheating on Daisy with Myrtle reveals the decline among the wealthy. The party at the Buchanan's house shows how lonely chasing wealth and money can be. Gatsby's failure to win Daisy's love despite his money and wealth shows how social barriers make it hard to reach the American Dream. (Pg's 131-133)

Despite Gatsby's wealth, his love for Daisy doesn't end well. His past crimes also show how the American dream can have consequences. (Pg's 148,151)

Chapter 9 is corrupt and Unreachable because Gatsby is dead and no one came to his funeral. He was one of the wealthiest people in long Island and he threw the craziest parties but when he died no one came to mourn him. He only had two people who were not servants come to his funeral. (Pg's 174-175)
