Laurie's teacher is nice and patient. I know this because in the text it states, "He gave the crayons around and he picked up the books afterwards and the teacher said he was her little helper." This shows that after all the bad things that "Charles" did she is still very nice to him. This shows that Laurie's teacher is very nice and gave him another chance.

Like in the text " We had a little trouble adjusting, the first week or so,” she said primly, “but now he’s a fine little helper.

Laurie's teacher is confused when his mom said to the teacher Charles was causing a lot of trouble. She was confused because Laurie was the one causing all the trouble and Laurie was the only person who talked about him, and everything he described about him was what Laurie was doing. Also when Laurie's mom talked to the teacher the teacher said he was having a her d time starting and was know the teachers helper but had little blips every now and then. Like Charles because Laurie said that Charles was the teachers helper, but occasionally he would start to behave bad

In the text it states, "On Thursday Charles had to stand in a corner during story time because he kept pounding his feet on the floor. On Friday Charles was deprived of blackboard privileges because he threw chalk". His mom talked about "Charles" who was being a pain but the teacher didn't know what she was talking about the teacher explained there was no Charles in her class. Therefore the teacher is really confused about who Charles is. Laurie's mom is also confused because Laurie told her that there was a boy who was a real trouble maker, but it turns out it was Laurie.

I think the teacher is a serious and is a little mean. My evidence to back that up is , and remarked that his teacher said we were not to take the name of the Lord in vain. That’s what the teacher told Laurie in the text which can show that she is serious and cares about what the students say another piece of evidence is “The teacher spanked a boy, though,” that’s some proof that she is serious and that gotta hurt which to me is mean for a teacher to spank a student. “Why did Charles hit the teacher?” I asked quickly. “Because she tried to make him color with red crayons,” Laurie said. “Charles wanted to color with green crayons so he hit the teacher and she spanked him and said nobody play with Charles this shows more of that the teacher is serious and she didn’t like that and it seems that the teacher isn’t very fun and is “good” at discipline.
