“Ms. can i ask you a question?” The girl interrupted, the Quran coach smiled replying, “Yes sure Sweatheart you can.”
“You said that all muslims should say Bismillah before doing anything, do bad people say Bismillah before doing something bad?”

That was a clever question we faced when our learners learned how to embed the Name of Allah within their life.

The Quran coach replied back, “Let me ask you a question, where did Allah taught us to say bismillah?”,

She automatically replied without thinking, “in the beginning of the Quran introduction, Surat Alfatihah”.
“And do you think that Allah the Most Merciful, The Almighty included any bad deed or action within His words to us” the Quran coach replied.
“Definitely NOT” the girl assured.
“Then he asked us to say his beautiful Merciful, Gracious name just before anything good to live our life in baraka and to stay away from bad deeds, what do you think now?”, said the Quran coach.
“i think that bad people are away from Allah that they would forget saying His Merciful name”. The girl nodded understandingly.

Shine light upon some of the amazing benefits of saying Bismillah.

Bismillah has a practical meaning, that we do not merely utter it as a ritual, however, it means that we are starting the action seeking Allah’s help and blessings.

You can introduce the Basmalah to your child by telling them that it CONTAINS THREE OF ALLAH’s NAMES

BISMILLAH IR RAHMAN IR RAHEEM

1- Allah which is His most familiar name to indicate that all things happen only by the will of Allah.

2- Ar-Rahmaan one of Allah’s names that refers to Allah’s attribute of being Merciful. Showing the vastness of Allah’s mercy. Ar-Raheem refers specifically to His mercy he bestows on His creation.

3- AR-Rahim which means merciful. Allah is the most merciful and it is only through His mercy that man can thrive or be successful.

Focus on Bismillah, you will find difference in your life.

"I love teaching my kids gratitude since their very early understanding." Said Mona, advising other mothers when we were discussing tools of Gratitude.

When you have someone dear to your heart, you keep on being grateful for them, where you have been grateful for their help or even their presence in your life.

Nevertheless, it is the same way in expressing our gratitude to our Lord, Allah SWT, admitting His goodness upon you and your life.

Thank you, Allah, for everything!
"Alhamdulillah for everything," is a common phrase. "All praise and gratitude in all situations belongs to Allah," it says. This emphasize a complete expression of faith and gratitude to Allah.

How to start early with your children?

1- Make a habit of saying “Alhamdulillah” in front of your child.

2- Prayers are the best form of showing your gratitude to Allah.

3- Ask your child what do you feel after seeing the blessings of Allah upon us.

4- Create the jar of blessings , everyday put a piece of paper with the blessing written on it.

5- Always try your best to point out the smaller blessing.
6- Be creative in seeing the blessings of Allah upon you and your family.

She said it all, we are blessed with our learners who keep us thrived with their reflections. This girl said the things that most grownups not know about it.

There is a question i always ask our learners reflecting Surat Alfatihah:

*Do you know how many Names of Allah mentioned in Surat AlFatihah?
*Knowing the name of Allah; The Merciful, how does this name reflected on your life?

Teach your kids Mercy through these phrases:
1- Allah’s mercy is so amazing and huge.
2- Allah, Ar-Rahman, is full of love and mercy for you and everything in existence!

The powerful Night

“Ooooooh, wow, that's almost 83 years!” Said Samy with an astonished tune of voice.

It was his reflection on a mathematical equation teaching the kids about the Aya “ليلة القدر خيرٌ من ألفِ شهر”
“The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months” (Surat Al-Qadr, 3)

LaylatulQadr or the night of Power, the night of Decree occurs in Ramadan’s 10 final days. If we worship Allah on this night, its going to count for us worshipping him for 83 years.

Another kid raised his hand saying, “I think that's pretty cool, because if you think about it, even if you lived for 83 years, without this special night, you wouldn't be able to get
reward for 83 years of worship. Unless you didn’t waste any time”

What you ought to teach your kids in that night is the sincere Duaa, as this night holds all the destiny for the whole mankind…

Give Sadaqa, illustrate surat Al-Qadr, moreover you can play with them, a mum sent this: “For Laylatul Qadr we have created a balloon tree. We have a question about Suratul Qadr written in each balloon. The kids will pop the balloon and answer the question – and will receive a small treat for each correct answer!”

The power of happiness

Eid Al-Fitr is the day of thanksgiving and joy. It marks the end of the month of fasting, and we sense glad and gratefulness to Allah that He enabled us to obey His commands.

It is with this spirit of thanksgiving that the Muslim people all around the global observes `Eid Al-Fitr by gathering with joy offering Prayers to Allah, rejoicing and celebrating accomplishment of an act of worship and submission to the Almighty.

Of course, Eid will constantly be Eid, the joyful celebration will carry happiness to hundreds of thousands of Muslims households and to their friends of different religions.

Eventually, a very happy Eid for All of you, out there!

What is the meaning of Lord of the worlds?

If your child asked you this question,
Here are four steps to answer him.

First, you will need to explain to them that, Quran is that amazing miracle which explains the concept of Allah being the Lord of the Worlds so vividly so that we can all understand.

Second, Sit with your child to do the mind mapping of this attribute,

Ask him what worlds or nations does he know?

If he doesn’t know, help him by introducing the below worlds

Worlds of all Living Beings
World of Animals
World of Fishes
World of Angels
World of Spirits
Etc…

Third, you can ask him what other creatures submit to Allah,
The sun, the moon and the day and night…

Explain by saying that
To Him belongs the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. In His hand is goodness and He is able to do all things.
There is none worthy of worship but He.

Fourth, Expand your kid’s imagination with your discussions about the possibility of the existence of other worlds in other unknown still undiscovered universities as Allah can Do that indeed.

It is known to us that Allah SWT has made an oath for the first 10 days of zul hijja and this is where we came to know how important of these days are since Allah is using it through making us an oath.

How can i address my child to do so?

You can talk about the 5 pillars of islam,
Talk about Hajj and its pillars
Give sadawqa and Make a charity box from cards or any recycle material and decorate it to encourage charity.
Talk about the months in Islam,
talk about the virtues of Zul Hijja
List as many good deeds as you can to plan on accomplishing,
Read related stories, Prophet Ibrahim and Ismail, Prophet Muhammad and his last message on Mount Arafa
Talk about Eid preparations and sunnah and the happiness in it.

we parents need to know that our kids immitate our actions, so sunnah has to be applied during those best days of the year:

1-zikr
praising Allah for the blessing you live in
making Istighfar
Allaho Akbar
La Ilaha Illa Allah - Shahada
and remember that Hajj performers on the same time are always saying Labaikallahoma labaik , so try to be alike.

2- Fasting
if you could not fast the whole 9 days, it is highly recommended for you to fast the 9th day of zul Hijja which is the Arafa day.

3- Reciting Quran,
gather a circle time with your kids and establish with reminding or teaching them the hadeeth of sayedna Muhammad that each one letter of Quran, is being rewarded by Allah SWT with hasanah and those hasanat is being multiplied by ten SAyed Muhammad SAW said that "i am not saying that, alef lam, meen is a letter, yet Alef is a letter, Lam is another letter and meem is another letter.

4- Remember loved ones...
Preserving the ties of kinship is an act of kindness of heart. and remember not only to do it with living ppl, but also if you have a beloved who died you can preserve the ties of kinship by making duaa for them.

5- Repent
Remember that almala2eka or angels are seeking forgiveness to those who continue repenting from bad deeds they have done.... so teach your children and your home to constantly repent to be put among the angels prayers for the believers..
