Visiting my nieces in Arizona- May

One of my favorite memories was seeing my nieces. It was a four-hour car ride, so for most of the car ride, I was on my phone anxiously waiting until we arrived. Finally, we arrived and my nieces came out to greet us and help with the bags. After we got settled my niece Amarai gave me a tour of their new house, when we were done with the tour of their house we talked about the drama with their friends. The next day we went to the lake and spent family time together. We had to leave the lake early because the spot we picked had many bugs, the rest of the day I got to meet and hang out with some of their friends. On the last day we barbecued, so we cleaned the house when we got up. In the evening my older sister and mom went shopping for the barbecue, when they got back I helped cook the food to make it in time for the football game. We watched the football game the rest of the day and spent family time together. In the morning I had to pack my bags, I said goodbye to my nieces and left to go back home, on the way home we stopped at Dairy Queen and got ice cream then got back on the road.

Fourth of July-July

Another memory that made me happy was the Fourth of July. For the fourth of July, we went to my mom's friend's house. I made two cheesecakes a red, white, and blue one with pop rocks and a regular one. When we got there it was still early, so me and my sister went into the living room and watched TV. My mom, her friend, and her kids were playing in the pool in the backyard since it was hot that day. For lunch, they barbecued hamburgers, Kaba, and potato salad, and while eating we put a movie on to pass the time. finally, it was time to light and watch the fireworks, all of the big fireworks in the sky made me happy. My sister and I lit some shower fireworks, I was scared every time we lit one because I didn't want it to tip and fire at us. Overall that night the fireworks were all pretty and after we ate the cheesecakes and played with the little kids on the trampoline. Then we went home and ate left overs.

My Birthday Party- July

One of the very best moments of 2024 was my 15th birthday. This was a very special brithday party because it was the first time we had invited friends. We woke up early, so we could get last minute essentials and to get my birthday dress. Then we came back home and got ready, then we head over to Pizza.Co to set up the decorations and tables. An hour later people started arriving, we greeted our family and friends. After a little they sang happy birthday to us and we give out the cupcakes. Most of our presents were money, so we can get what we want, and my nieces from arizona came so that was exciting. After we handed out the gift bags and cleaned up, then headed back to my house. Then back at my house we had a little after party with my sister and nieces, which was fun. The next day we spent family time with them until they had to leave back to Arizona.

Christmas-December

This Christmas my family and I gathered at my grandparents' house. The tree was decorated, and the lights were bright. We spent the evening building gingerbread houses and laughing together. My nieces and I played board games and joked with each other. The house smelt like cookies because we had baked and decorated them. We exchanged gifts, and everyone was happy with their presents. My grandmother and older sister made a holiday feast that we all enjoyed. We watched a Christmas movie together. Since it is very cold at my sister's house we put the fireplace on. It was a happy, time that I will always look back on.

Birthday-July

Spending a birthday with my sister and our dad's side of the family was a special day. We all met up at my Uncle's house, which was decorated for our birthday. There was an ice cream cake that everyone liked. My sister and I played games with our cousins. My grandma shared funny stories. My uncles and Aunts talked and caught up with each other. We opened presents and were very grateful. One of my favorite presents was Vans that my uncle bought for me. We took lots of photos to remember the day. It was a wonderful birthday.
