         <description><![CDATA[<p>Mexico has mountains, rainforests, and deserts. It is moderately rainy in the mountains and the southern plateaus, while it's very rainy in some tropical southern areas. Summer has the most rain out of all the seasons. In winter, the temperature increases  from north to south, and the south has a tropical climate while precipitation is scarce in the central north.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>They emerged from the culture of the Spanish empire. The Olmecs were Mexico’s first known society that settled on the Gulf Coast near Veracruz. They are remembered for their giant head sculptures they carved from native stone. The Olmecs had two main population centers San Lorenzo, which lasted from about 1200 to 900 B.C, and La Venta in Tabasco which lasted until about 600 B.C. (via History Channel)</p>]]></description>
