He&nbsp; was dedicated to the cause of ending apartheid&nbsp; and was determined to finish what he started.<br>2. Aung Suu Kyi is similar to Mandela because she also never gives up on her cause and puts others before herself. Even when she was in and out of house arrest, she kept fighting for what she believed in. We can all learn from her and Mandela, that if you keep working hard and stay loyal to your cause, you can be successful in achieving your goal. </div>]]></description>

She was trying to create a fair government for all the people in her country. Something that can be learned from her is to never give up. She continued to be as involved as possible when she was on house arrest. Aung San Suu Kyi is similar to Nelson Mandela in that she stood up for what she believed in and was passionate in being a peaceful advocate in the hope for change for her country's government.&nbsp; We can learn from her what we can learn from Mandela, that sometimes it is worth standing up for what you believe in because that is what is right and just, no matter the consequences they face.</div>]]></description>
