I've learned the importance of helping students become independent of their own learning while also guiding them on the tasks that they need guidance for. I also learned that assessments should be planned and used properly to accurately evaluate students' progress. Collecting students' tasks and work are also important not just for recording but also to manage their progress and find more room for improvement while celebrating their achievements and growth. As a future math teacher, this will help me in guiding students by giving them more time to solve problems when they needed more, evaluating whether students are ready and capable of answering complex problems or need more examples, and encouraging them to collect and keep their solutions for them to review and use as a reference for solving problems in the future, and checking the areas they need to improve on themselves.
