Coming to Speas from another school, I have been impressed with many things, and overall pleasantly surprised by this school. The students are respectful and mostly well-behaved. The DLI students seem excited about learning a second language. Students in general seem to be excited to learn about other cultures and places. Parent interest and involvement is much greater here than other schools. And, as a new addition to Speas, I have felt welcomed and included by the staff (something that doesn't always happen with EC).
