         <title>Why are photosynthesis and cellular respiration opposite?</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Cellular respiration and photosynthesis are opposite reactions. They are opposite because they use a different formula. Photosynthesis, being 6CO2 + 6H2O yields(light) C6H12O6 + O2, which is when carbon dioxide and water plus radiant energy form glucose and oxygen. While Cellular Respiration is, C6H12O6 + O2 yields 6CO2 + 6H2O + ATP(energy), glucose plus oxygen can create carbon dioxide, water and ATP(energy). Not only are their formulas different, but photosynthesis need sunlight for it to happen ,meanwhile Cellular Respiration doesn't need that, also photosynthesis happens in the chloroplast and cellular respiration happens in the mitochondria. Therefore photosynthesis creates glucose and oxygen while, cellular respiration is creating carbon dioxide, water, and ATP energy.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>- Chemical energy is used when CO2 + H2O are turned into C6H12O6 + O2 and vice versa. Radiant energy is used for the use of photosynthesis which comes in the form of the sun. Heat and Mechanical energy are produced while/after both photosynthesis and cellular respiration are occurring. ATP energy is the type of energy which is produced during cellular respiration.<br><br></div>]]></description>
