I chose this picture because it represents how important plants are in our society and for the environment. Plants are important to society because we use plants for many different purposes such as medicine, clothing and food. Plants are very important to the environment because without plants we could not survive. All humans and animals need plants to sustain life.

Plants use the energy of light to convert carbon dioxide and water into glucose. This process provides the basic energy source for all organisms.

I chose temperate deciduous forest as being the biome in most danger. I believe that this biome is in the most danger because due to global warming, trees cannot photosynthesize properly. This will cause problems in the biome because if trees and plants cannot photosynthesize properly, they cannot receive the amount of energy they need to survive.

This diagram shows how there was a growth in population, as well as a stratified class being created. This diagram also shows how people abandoned their nomadic lifestyle to settle in villages.

I chose this picture because it shows how the Third Agricultural Revolution changed the way of farming. This is also called the Green Revolution and began in the 1930's. New agricultural practices were created to help farmers all over the world and eliminate hunger by improving the output and quality of crops. Farmers could now use the same amount of land and get more crops.

I chose this picture because the world’s agricultural system faces a great balancing act. To meet different human needs by 2050, it must simultaneously produce far more food for a population expected to reach about 9.6 billion, provide economic opportunities for the hundreds of millions of rural poor who depend on agriculture for their livelihoods, and reduce environmental impacts, including ecosystem degradation and high greenhouse gas emissions. If our agricultural system becomes lazy, we will suffer great consequences.
