College students may be enduring tedious assignments, making them stressed and over-worked. But they can still go to their friends and family to get guidance, support, and comfort.

Aubrey Nolan's idea that peace and serenity can be found in any given situation.

Nolan writes that this place of serenity, "is always there, waiting for the next visitor to shed the disarray of the world outside". A college student always has access to this sanctuary, all they need to do is take their mind away from all of the stress and focus on what is important to them and what is standing right in front of them in the present like their friends and family.

The relationships college students build with people and the connections they keep with their loved ones are all methods that ensure that they do not remain in an endless cycle of dissatisfaction, stressed over their future goals and over the difficulties of college tuition and academics. College students have access to their sources of happiness, such as loved ones, at all time as indicated by Nolan. And according to Brooks, students are capable of reducing their future endeavors and to instead focus on their important relationships in the present moment. Lastly, as Kahneman expresses, students are creating new memories that reflect on their most pivotal moments in life and these moments can be valuable time spent with loved ones. College students do not have to live all four years of their life being dissatisfied and stressed, instead, if they choose to follow these methods, they can maintain their happiness and push through their college experience. Their lives is not all just about the hardships of the future and what is it come, there are always people waiting for them in the present that can help them maintain a level of joy throughout their lives.
