Hello! Would be great to know a bit about how you guys tend to manage the workload e.g. how you spread homework over the week, round about how long you spend on different activities each week, any useful tips, etc.
Thanks, Lily
P.s. These sessions have been really good so far, thank you!

Personally, I'll focus on a topic a day, for general reading and mini things, when I can.
Especially, since lockdown, creating a routine planner is really useful. But don't procrastinate too much on this.
Be focused in your study time. Keep to 40 mins to an hour solid work (switch your phone off in this time).
Take regular little breaks too. Even a few seconds staring out of window, hopefully at a nice, view will help.
Put important assessment dates on a planner and focus on priorities.
Check out the Student Services Study Support and Wellbeing services too.
Hope this helps Lily.

Best wishes
Marcus

Hi Lily,
I agree with all of Marcus' contributions. I'd also suggest having folders - digital or analog - to keep an order of your work and to physically separate modules and assignments in your mind.
A good wall planner is a great idea - where you can see deadlines and how much time you have until them, so you can plan what you're going to get done each week - bitesize is key!
https://www.uwe.ac.uk/study/study-support/study-skills/time-management
This is a great link.
Perhaps you can chat to your cohort about what their ideas are on managing workload?
Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Feel free to add to our contributions :)
