         <title>Marshall Field</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Marshall Field was born on August 18, 1834, in Conway, Massachusetts. Field moved to Chicago, Illinois he took a job with Cooley, at the largest dry-goods store in the city. Five years later he and another partner, Levi Leiter went into business. In 1867, Field brought his brothers Joseph and Henry into the business. A year later the company opened a new store in a downtown building but was badly damaged in the Great Chicago Fire.          <title>J.P. Morgan</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>J.P. Morgan was born on April 17, 1837, in Hartford, Connecticut. His grandfather, Joseph was the founder of the Aetna Insurance Company, and his father, Junius became a partner in a successful dry goods business. He moved to New York, and in 1879 William Vanderbilt approached him about the sale of 250,000 shares of stock in the New York Central Railroads. The following year he sold $40 million in bonds to finance the Northern Pacific Railroad. J.P. Morgan &amp; C0. became a major player in the steel industry by financing the formation f Federal Steel. 3 years later after purchasing Andre Carnegie's steel company, Morgan merged the entities into U.S. Steel, creating the first billion dollar corporation. <br>Source: <a href="https://www.biography.com/people/jp-morgan-9414735">https://www.biography.com/people/jp-morgan-9414735</a></div>]]></description>
