CLIMA

En Alcora els estius són calents, humits i majorment clars.
Hiverns llargs, freds, ventosos i parcialment ennuvolats.
La temperatura generalment varia de 5°C a 29°C, rares vegades baixa a menys d'1°C o putxa a més de 32°C. La temperatura es de 17°C

PAISATGE

En el paisatge podem trobar dos tipus, molt prop un d'un altre, però alhora molt diferents. Podem trobar un paisatge com el pantà o Sant Vicent, mentre que per altra part podem trobar un paisatge urbà replet de cases i fabriques.

INSTAL·LACIONS

En L'Alcora hi ha instal·lacions com pistes de tenis, padel, basquet, fútbol... Per a que totes les persones puguen gaudir del seu esport preferit. Les intal·lacions que més destaquen son el polifuncional on es troba l'equip de fútbol sala i el camp de basquet.

HORARIS

  • Fútbol sala: totes les vesprades hi ha entrene en el pabelló pero lógicament cada hora diferents categories.

La dominació romana va deixar també la seva empremta en el nostre terme municipal. De l'assentament romà han recuperant les termes romanes, úniques a la província de Castelló.
Els vestigis de la presència musulmana a d'Alcora són relativament abundants, el castell de l'Alcalatén...

Alcora és coneguda a nivell nacional i internacional per la seva ceràmica, és un dels principals nuclis de la indústria ceràmica. El Museu de Ceràmica és una de les nostres joies més preciades, en ell es poden admirar les creacions de la Reial Fàbrica.

El desemvolupament industrial, es centra amb el "monocultiu del taulell". Té el seu origen històric amb la Reial Fàbrica de Pisa i Porcelana del Conde d´Aranda en 1767.
La Reial Fàbrica fou la primera industria ceràmica de la provincia de Castellò, zona rica amb terres argiloses i d´aigua en la que ja existia una llarga tradició d´alfarers.
En l´actualitat s´ha posat en marxa la restauració dels restes d´aquesta fabrica per fer-la un museu.

Actualment, hi ha rondant les 50 taulelleres, gràcies a les quals dona suport econòmic a milers de persones.
