         <description><![CDATA[<p>“Literacy and misinformation that keep us boxed in”.&nbsp;(Sheperd, 2018)</p><p>There are many areas of misinformation in today’s social media that change or persuade people’s perceptions and worldviews on topics like global warming.&nbsp; There is sound scientific data that supports the topic that humans are a major contributor to global warming yet non-credited media can easily persuade the general public’s views.</p>]]></description>

         <title>Indigenous stories reveal the science of the world around us</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>“Indigenous and academic science communities have opportunities to find common ground on many fronts,”&nbsp;(Lee, 2022)</p><p>The indigenous people learn from stories passed down from many generations that promotes the worldview from the tribal perspective.&nbsp; Modern science may contradict such stories and cast doubt on some of the details that took place in the story.&nbsp; There are parts of the story that can help explain the lay of the land, weather and ect. &nbsp;Science can take those aspects from the stories to hopefully better explain the scientific side.</p>]]></description>

They anchor soil, provide food for other animals and often grow in harmony, preferring the company of some plants while remaining distant or even inhibiting the growth of others”&nbsp;(Raven, 1998)</p><p>This perspective and learning method promote respecting plant life and would trend towards a more environmentalist worldview.</p>]]></description>
