Today I learned about the different strategies used for co-teaching. I wasn’t familiar with the different kinds that are used, and so seeing all of them really was an eye-opener, especially because there’s more than just 3 ways that can be implemented. Another thing I learned today was differentiation and how it can be applied to the co-teaching and the importance of grouping certain students with each other. One last thing I learned was the cautions to make when co-teaching, there will be some negatives that come when doing a particular co-teach strategy too much, such as One Teach One Assist, and so I learned it’s good to mix it up.
2. What I need to think about when planning the co-teach approaches is the lesson that is being given and what type of co-teach would be best implemented. Another thing to think about when planning is holding my MT accountable for us both to work together for the benefit of the students

One of the specific strategy’s that I learned was the alternative method. 
I also learned about station teaching and team based teaching.

I need to think about how I will plan for these coteaching methods with my mentor, preferably a week in advance.
II also need to think about a progression timeframe for each method.

I learned that the station teaching involves not splitting the students based on ability and you split them evenly so they are able to assist eachother on material they do not understand. I also learned that alternative teaching can be applied with struggling students. The students can be pulled from the large lesson group to review topics or have topics retaught. This helps the struggling students without holding back the ones meeting expectations. 
2 things that I need to be thinking about when planning for coteqchinf is what will best help my students. Are all of my students on the same level or do I have some falling behind. If all students are on the same level then parallel or team teaching would be efficient. I also need to be thinking about the content of the lesson. If we have activities involved around the same content then station teaching would be most effective. On the other hand if we have the same activities than parallel teaching would be best. 
One question I have moving forward is how to implement coteaching in writing ? A. I liked learning about Station Teaching. I thought it was interesting how I’m already implementing this teaching style with my MT.
B. Another point I learned was that the One Teach, One Assist is not a good teaching style to use very often as the students may not see you as an authoritative figure in the long run.
C. I really thought that Team Teaching was the best option as it can help build a strong relationship between your MT and your students.

I also learned that if you are doing alternative teaching the students can go back to the main group once they understand the lesson. I also learned that the Alternafive teaching method is based for students who are needing differentiations and targeting those who need more support. Lastly, I learned that when TEAM teaching both MT and TC are going off each other and the lesson is “split”, where one takes care of one part and the other picks up the rest.

Three things I learned today were the differences between Team Teaching and One Teach, One Assist, Station Teaching, and the importance of drifting from One Teach, One Assist.
• Team Teaching is an area in which the MT and TC both collaborate and work on the lesson planning and deciding how both parties will go about a single lesson. This a scripting time. 
• Station Teaching, I learned we can intertwine students based on their abilities. This means by mixing students rather than putting the same educational levels.
• Drifting from One Teach, One Assist is for the us as the TC to focus more on stations, parallel, alternative, and team. This is because we don’t not want students seeing us as assistants but as actual teachers.
2. Two things I need to think about when planning is understanding which type of teaching I am doing and to knowing how to accommodate the students when teaching a lesson.
