Now we have military presence all over the world which means we have become more stable in the U.S and now we can worry about other places around the world. Our foreign policy today is also similar because the people of the country and our countries officials don’t want us to be at war because it costs too much money and too many lives are being lost.

Before as a new and rising country, we depended on other countries more than now. As we had just finished a war, we could barely afford to help other countries and their problems as we had problems of our own. But this is very different in today’s society. The United States a leading military force in the world, can’t afford to not lend our help to foreign countries in need.
