I justified it by saying that it was a relatively small and harmless piece, it wouldn't affect the business but might give a passing shopper a nice moment of reflection.

I think this action helped me break free from constraints of space, and having a high end shopping area as a space to perform activism has a lot of potential. It is scary to do something like graffiti or anything out of the norm in a space that has a certain use, but I think playing with those common rules are an effective tool for action.

I also was watching a youtube video that discussed anarcho-monarchy.

These came together to form the idea that social media apps and technology run freely in our lives without any real restriction in the same way as governments.

I also wanted to turn this into a Youtube video, hopefully reach a larger online audience.

It took a while for me to get comfortable just going up to people and asking them to interviews. I also didn't want to be too much a nuisance or abrasive presence. I still wanted the character to be a little bit arrogant and unlikeable

Many people laughed when I told them I was the "TikTok Tyrant", which felt nice.

I was only able to really talk to young people, more accepting of the "on the street" type people

Language barrier also made it harder to talk to older people. This was a group I particularly wanted to talk to

I hope that this kind of direct action would have an impact on the way people think about their relationship with social media

We kept the idea of doing a presentation/seminar with a twist

The teams were split up based on similar choices they made during the presentation

This was incorporated by the story when a government would fail because of disagreements over something stupid (like pizza vs. sushi).

However, the choices we make, including differences, make life and politics fun; this is reflected by the fact that people still enjoyed playing the game even through failures and disagreements.

We would also like to include more audience participation, but again this would be easier to achieve if there were more people or more than two teams.

If we were to do it again, we would want to include a section for discussion/reflection on the events of the game that could cause the audience to think about the more abstract concepts that were apart of the performance.

As a note for future events, for specific "performances", there should be an emphasis placed so many people could meet at one place at this specific time. Maybe there can be a specific category for performances in the schedule for future events.
