It stopped the German soldiers from advancing and marked the turning for the Allied powers to take offense.

At the conference they debated and discussed the value of Germany and its influence on Europe and the world. This meeting came to the conclusion that Germany should be punished for the things they've done to Europe and should be stripped of their power.

The Fall of Rome On June 4th, 1944, Rome was declared an open city by the Axis powers (German Army), and no resistance was encountered.

Americans took possession of Rome keeping Germans away and allowed Americans to double the Allied power in a few months.

The Fall of Berlin and the Death of Hitler

The Fall of Berlin was one of the final battles in World War 2. It lasted from April 20th to May 2nd, 1945. Garrison City surrendered while fighting continued, and German Axis power formally surrendered on May 8th to the Soviet Union.

This created the first step towards the German reunification.

Adolf Hitler committed suicide on April 30th, 1945. He was haunted by soviet troops storming Berlin and couldn't take it anymore. He was 56 years old. After Hitler killed himself it was clear to Germans that they would lose the war to the Allied Powers. Which ended World War 2 in Europe.
