The history and events that occurred at this building are why I love it so much. I've had the privilege to step foot where men willingly sacrificed their life for the state of Texas. Battles like this gave Texas the reputation that we have today of "Don't Mess With Texas". Knowing that the building people so carelessly walk through was once valued so much, makes it worth the trip every time I go to San Antonio. JFK is my 2nd favorite President (behind Trump).The way he spoke with such great confidence and authority mesmerized my mind. His unfortunate death by assassination halted the greatness he was bringing to our country. I would appreciate seeing where his killer (Lee Harvey Oswald) once stood and fired three bullets in his final moments.
