It is music that evicts emotion, tells a story, and causes people to listen to it over and over. There are many classical pieces that immediately put a smile on my face the second it begins to play. I think there's a different kind of listening that occurs with classical. With pop music, I only listen to it's face value, meaning whether or not I like the words and the way they're sung. With classical, you listen and hear so much more. The more I focus on the music that is playing, the more I can hear the layers to it, and not just the melody.
