Classical Music

It isn't boring music, as some might think. It is music that evicts emotion, tells a story, and causes people to listen to it over and over. There are many classical pieces that immediately put a smile on my face the second it begins to play. I think there's a different kind of listening that occurs with classical. With pop music, I only listen to it's face value, meaning whether or not I like the words and the way they're sung. With classical, you listen and hear so much more. The more I focus on the music that is playing, the more I can hear the layers to it, and not just the melody. It may require some concentration, but it is very pleasant to hear classical music.

I enjoyed listening to the Classical music radio station because classical music always makes me happy and introspective. The station played classical music of all sorts. I listened to the station as I did homework, but often found myself stopping and appreciating the music.

It always shocks me a little to hear vocalization in classical music, because I think that classical is strictly instruments. But the vocals were beautiful to listen to.
