INGRIEDENTS
500 grams of dried bread

300 ml of milk

4 eggs

120 grams of brown sugar

70 grams of raisins soaked in brandy, which you can replace with blueberries, cranberry, apples, pears, squash, strawberries, grapes or whatever you prefer

60 grams of nuts (almonds, pine nuts, walnuts, hazelnuts, pecans)

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

lemon peel and orange untreated

80 grams of melted butter in a double boiler

MOTHS
1-Turn oven setting it to 180 degrees.

Melt the butter in a bain marie, slowly.

2-Crumble the bread and dip it in milk. Let immersed for 10 minutes. Drain away the milk and keep aside, wring well the bread, which must remain dry.

3-Retrieved the milk and place in a bowl with the eggs, sugar, cinnamon and melted butter, stir with a whisk. When the ingredients are well blended dusted with cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir again and add the bread, raisins and peel. Stir and put in a mold with high sides, which have previously buttered.

If you want to add some ingredients like pumpkin, apples, pears or peaches, cut into cubes and throw in the dough.

There are two schools of thought: those who scrambles very well and crumble the bread for a more polished look like a cake or who on the contrary, leaves the coarser blend to give an appearance homemade sweet.

Some prepare the bread pudding reducing the bread into cubes and then condendolo. Do some testing and see which method you like best.

4-Bake at 180 degrees for 45 minutes. To see if it is cooked, insert a toothpick and if it comes out clean then the pudding is ready and can be baked.

5-Let cool, then chop the other half of the dry fruit, mettetene a little 'on top of each slice and plate and serve with a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream or custard, or emulsified honey and rum.
