I wanted to make my step-dad a pottery version of his pet snapping turtle Elliot. The shell is removable and can hide snacks and stuff! I added Patina Green to the shell. The body was dipped in Honey Yellow and then covered in iron oxide and a little bit of the yellow oxide. I hope it turns out okay! Looks a little silly with just the unfired glaze on it. If I could change one thing I would make the legs stubbier. Elliot isn't really that tall of a turtle, so I would need some stubs.

So my zoomorphic is currently I think being loaded into the kin so I don’t really have a photo but I didn’t a vase with the body of a bird. I used metallic black glaze of the outside and the inside has the moonlight glaze. I actually dipped it in the black then had to paint the rest on as there was not enough to fully dip. Then I originally plan to have all the feather tips the moonlight and then slowly fade into the metallic black. But I wasn’t sure how to do that without the metallic black overpowering most of the moonlight or dripping so far down it just kind of covered it up so I avoided that for now and put the moon light on the inside so I can see the contrast. Depending on the contrast will depend on the color scheme that I do for the next project. A lot of the design was planned out before hand when it came to actually glazing I ended up changing my mind last minute of the color scheme that I had originally planned. if I were to change something I would definitely have figured out how to put the moonlight on the ends of each feather as I feel like that would’ve looked beautiful if it was properly blended between the two.

Hey all, this is my puppy dog Cause. He's a thickk boy, but hollow on the inside. His head is removable so this piece can be used as a jar if wanted. I brought two pinched pieces together which is making up his body. I then sculpted and attached the legs and he has a tail which is curled up along side him. I did not hollow out the tail figuring I wanted the piece to carry a bit of weight to it. I'm planning on going over the piece with a metallic black glaze giving him a nice shiny coat. I still need to find the color I want to use for his markings.
