         <description><![CDATA[<div>- A new revitalized American dream was present, including hardwork and patriotism.<br>- The american dream pre - war involved men working hard to provide for their families and rise above the depression. Whilst the post war american dream involved consumerism, feminism and the ideas of the future and opportunity<br>- During the war, women were being sent to factories while men were sent to war. Women in the workplace was a big stepping stone towards feminism<br>- After the war women began to take more jobs in the workplace until the got married<br>-  The desire for the "perfect american household" was present, including a house in the suburbs, a steady job, being married and having a few kids.<br><br></div>]]></description>
