'no more boomerang steel'

The poem 'No more boomerang' suggests that everything's changing now a days. (The repetition of the phrase  ' no more boomerang by Oodergoo Noonuccal refers to the loss of the culture by his people lifestyle and culture in the poem 'no more boomerang' has been replaced by the white mans ways of doing things.


Throughout the poem ,the poet uses the words 'no more' to indicate the parts of the culture and lifestyle his people have lost, and the word 'now' to show what parts of white mans culture have replaced these lessons .


For example in one of the paragraphs in the poem "no more sharing" meaning people can't share no more because the white people took over the aboriginal land.


"one time naked who never knew shame now we put clothes on to hide whatsaname" in this paragraph the people weren't ashamed of their bodies being exposed until they had to wear clothes now.


this stanza clearly state that the white people have started to take over the aboriginal's rights and things they should be able to join with the white people.-

The speech Stan grant said was about racism it was very understand able with all the things he said in he's speech it was very strong and for white people to understand where he's coming from is a very hard thing for white people to get where aboriginals come form them selves.


The techniques used in this speech was how he spoke and the things how said he backed up everything he said and make all the aboriginal people glad he did what hew did for standing up for them.
